WELCOME to the Divine Mercy Academy website. Our new Catholic school is located in Rockaway Borough in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson. Our school, which was formed by the merger of Sacred Heart of Jesus School and Saint Cecilia School, opened its doors in September 2016.

We are blessed that Divine Mercy Academy came to birth during the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy inaugurated by our Holy Father, Pope Francis. This Holy Year brought with it great blessings for our school as we looked to Jesus, the source of mercy.

Divine Mercy Academy is located in the former Saint Cecilia School. The school building underwent repairs and improvements during the 2016 summer making Divine Mercy Academy a welcoming, comfortable and safe facility.
