Bio: I am originally from the Detroit area of Michigan. I met my wife, Laura, while in college at Michigan State University where I majored in Human Resource Management. I spent the first part of my career working in business before moving into education.
Hometown: Rockaway, NJ.
I like working at the Academy because… I get the opportunity to mix my passion for problem solving and mathematics with my Catholic faith.
Teaching Philosophy: Through faith and problem solving with mathematics, I strive to aid in molding students to become strong, model citizens while creating a safe and conducive learning environment.
Fun Facts about me:
I won a high school national championship in rowing my senior year of high school where our boat finished 1st place in 19 of our 22 races
I have lived in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania prior to moving to New Jersey
My nearest family member is 550 miles away
I love to play board and card games
I am a former foster parent and have hosted exchange students from Germany and Thailand
When I’m not in the classroom you will find me… driving my kids around to events, sports, work and other activities.
