I like working at the Academy because… I love being in a faith-filled parish community where I am blessed by the kindness of my students, families, and colleagues and supported by an incredible administration.
Teaching Philosophy: As a teacher and Sister of Christian Charity, I first and foremost strive to win the hearts of the children entrusted to me for Christ. At the same time, I challenge my students to reach their full academic potential, express their learning in a variety of ways, and encourage them to grow in virtue and become the best version of themselves.
Fun Facts about me: I like to write poetry and jump rope.
When I’m not in the classroom you will find me… walking around Parks Lake, praying in our chapel, or chatting at home with my Sisters.
Ask me about… Disney movies, Broadway musicals, anything you REALLY wanted to know about religious Sisters, my friendship with Jesus and Mary.
My Personal Motto… “The Blessed Sacrament is my life, my bliss.” - Mother Pauline; “You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” – Winnie the Pooh
